As a mother of a teenage son who refused to participate in any activity that doesn't include sitting in front of a screen, Gali was much more than a sports therapist to us.
Not only did they connect on a personal level, taking a real interest in his life, Gali challenged him to reach athletic achievements, and acted as a wonderful role model.
I definitely recommend Gali, and personally, adore him.

Gali is very easy to work with.
He creates a very nice atmosphere.
Working with Gali helped me strengthen and improve physically.

Thank you for your incredible dedication, humor, warmth, integrity, and energy! Our bi-weekly lessons with you (for ages 2 - 32!) are the highlight of our week, as a family. We learn so much from you - and some of it is about Judo.
If all kids could experience your teaching, the world would be a better place. Lucky us.

Mateo loves taking Judo with you and the members of his class. Like Gali says, this class is about so much more than Judo, but about life.
Mateo became a yellow belt this week in Judo. However this class led by a member of the Israeli National Judo team is about more than Judo, it is about life. Thank you Gali for the priceless lessons this class provides and to the moms who have become my inspiration and my tribe and most importantly to the kids in this group who have shown me what true inclusion means whether that is full involvement with quadratic cerebral palsy, type 1 diabetes, celiac, autoimmune disorders, children learning in their second and third languages, switching back and forth between Hebrew, English and Kereni Spanish and a communication device she manages with eyewear. The kids don’t even notice who has what challenge but notice enough to be empathetic, loving, kind, compassionate and a little or a lot wild and crazy.

Hi Gali,
We would like to thank you dearly for your work with Adam and with Peleg.
You have not only been their Judo instructor, but also their mentor.
Putting together the different facets of such a sport: the physical, the mental, and discipline must not be a simple task, and must also require unique qualities.
Your contribution to their self-confidence and their self-esteem, and the personal attention that you gave to them touched both their hearts and ours,
So once again: a big big thank you. we love you and miss you.

For three years Elisha came to your Judo classes. His difficulties emerged immediately - the difficulty to be part of a team, the motoric difficulty, the fear of failure.
You took him (in the first days, physically took him - walking crying from me to your big hug, entering with you to the Dojo) and changed him.
He cried because of the forward roll he couldn’t do, because he was slower, because of other things. But even then, at the beginning of this journey, he would’ve come out of the Dojo happy and proud of himself because of your gentle and accurate support.
Since then this is ancient history - Elisha is challenging himself physically and progressing all the time. He feels confident even when the beginnings are tough and he’s slower than others on the team. You were a mentor for him, helping him to fit in a team, to cope with failures and insults, with you he felt comfortable to say things he couldn’t say at home.
It’s now three years that Elisha is proud and happy to go the Judo lessons, practice and progress, joining and competitions (and progressing in the ranks) and it’s all because of you! Thank you!

We love judo! For six months my kids and I have been taking judo classes with Judo-Gali. The community that's grown up around these classes is phenomenal and what makes us all keep coming even when we're exhausted by motherhood is the incredible teaching. My 3-year-old is just as engaged as the ten-year-old and they're all in one class! That's some serious sensei-skills! They've never said they don't want to go, they've never been yelled at or forced to compete, and they're learning so much; including kindness, self-defense, confidence, acceptance, and persistence.
For us moms, we get a place to burn up some of the emotions that are side-effects of parenting through hysterical laughter at the awkwardness of being beginners, and throwing one another around like sacks of potatoes!
